With the 'click' of a camera shutter the scene is forever recorded. The special moment is captured... These special moments of grace and beauty of the horse have captured my heart since my early youth. I began riding at the tender age of seven while my interest in photography began at age ten after being given my first camera, a Vivitar, as a Christmas gift. The rest is history... Photography and horses are my life's passions. I believe that my special talent is a blessing and a gift from God. Photography enables me to reach out to others by providing them with photos that capture the inner spirit of their beloved equine. My professional photography career began in earnest following my move to Lexington, Kentucky, the "Horse Capital of the World". Moving to Lexington has furthered my career as I have been able to sharpen my skills at Kentucky's hundreds of horse shows, including the four star KY Rolex Three Day Event. I am currently a member of the Equine Photographers Network, which allows me to take advantage of learning from some of the best equine photographers in the world. So... capturing that magical moment, that exhilarating feeling, and the special action of the horse is what I want most to provide my clients in photographing their horses. I have a complete commercial grade digital system utilizing a EOS 1D Mark II with several different professional lens packages that allow me maximum capability in choosing the right angle on just about any shot.
